I have known Rose for quit some time. I first photographed her wedding and other portraits of her and family a while back. She reached out to me she wanted to do something different and fun for her birthday gift to herself and I was delighted to have been the one to photograph her. We traveled far to shoot her in this parachute dress but it was all worth it. I don’t mind traveling to get amazing pictures I prefer actually. It fulfills me in a weird way. I like shooting in all types of locations so this fit me perfectly. We went to Monterey CA to photograph these photos. Rose wanted a water scene and I kept thinking about Monterey because they have some of the best beaches and rocks to photograph on. Anyway here are some of her photos!
Madeline was so gracious enough to let me photograph her. She was a senior I photographed earlier and I loved her look so I kinda made her my muse. This was my first attempt to do a parachute photo shoot. I plan on making more images but this was my first attempt at it. So when we went to shoot this session it had been a little breezy but when we got to Contra Loma it was supper windy. I thought that Madeline might take off with the parachute for a moment. I was worried about the hair but in all honesty it was cool that the dress lifted up like that and that skirt is heavy. It turned out okay in the end with the windy being crazy and all it was okay. Its funny just to do your own projects from time to time.
This gentleman wanted to have pictures with is adorable dog Ebar. He needed some professional photos taken but was adamant that his dog had to be with at all time. I totally love animals so for me it was how awesome I get to pet a dog today meet a new pup. Anyway we shot George’s photos at the city hall in Brentwood which has amazing architectural elements. Without further a due here are the photos:
Lynzie and Joseph live on a ranch in Lodi CA and she wanted to take pictures on the property. She could not have asked for a better location. There were barns and horses and Lynzie had her own horse which she took pictures with as well. I was tickled pink getting to photograph on her property I had so much fun meeting the animals and just admiring the landscape. What a great place to wake up to everyday. Thank you for sharing with me this magical place and I can’t wait to photograph your wedding.
I had so much fun with these two young love birds shooting their engagement session. They wanted to be photographed in San Francisco specifically in Golden Gate Park. Let me just say anyone can spend a whole day shooting just in this location and one day is not enough time. There is so many locations in that area to photograph at. A photographers dream. But I just love these two eager young couple. They are full of life and joy it makes these days seem happier with the pandemic mess. I am excited to be shooting their wedding coming up in 2021.
I had the pleasure to have photographed this young ladies senior photos. The camera really loves her. She has such an angelic quality to her. It was a lot of fun. We shot her pictures at the beautiful Alvisio Adobe Park. I was supper excited that she wore her senior ball gown for some of her senior photos. It was Devine. Its sad that 2020 grads ended up not having a senior ball but most of the seniors that I have talked to were ok with it all. I think parents seemed more devasted. After this photo shoot she posed for me for a different shoot I was wanting to do for a very long time and she became my muse. Stay tuned for those.
I wanted to do a portrait session of a little girl in a lavender field. So these portraits were an experiment for me. I had a great time and Arica was a great little model. I hope to come back to this location again.
I was excited to photograph this young man’s pictures for graduation. I don’t get to photograph enough seniors which I really enjoy doing. He graduated in 2020 without complaints of the pandemic. Its put a halt on many young kids lives they can’t do sports or some didn’t even have their proms. However, from the kids I have photographed no complaints at all even though its a disappointing time. I guess we can learn from them and just be patient. I really enjoyed getting to photographing Max. Have a awesome adventure Max!
This lady is so awesome. She is one after my own heart. The love of nature we have so much in common. Her husband wasn’t to keen on it but we both enjoyed ourselves. I photographed her and her family in Mt. Diablo. The next day we did a small session of a milk bath which was also a lot of fun. She since then had her baby girl.
I had the great opportunity to photograph Jessica and Robert for their maternity session at the Markham Nature park in Concord CA. I photographed their wedding and when they told me they were expecting and wanted some photos I was so excited for them. So here are a few of the photos of their session. Congratulations you two!!
